Dog Gone Good

I’m pretty sure you all know me as a dog lover.

I lived the first 35 years of my life without a dog, and I can now see what a waste of time that was – but I’ve been making it up ever since.

And here’s the great part…dog accessories. I like shopping for them almost as much as I do for shoes. Almost. Here are some stylish essentials for your furbaby that they would like for you to add to your shopping list:

Playing dress up

Etsy has lots of great makers in the dog product category, and Gianni Cooling Design is one of my favorites. This leather bow tie comes in multiple colors and is a simple way to get Fido glam.

Sweater weather is almost over, but there are cute spring options at Mark and Graham. Dog not included.

Toy Time!

Gift your dog the gift that gives back. These non-toxic wool Binky toys by House Dogge come in several pretty colors and you can customize them with your pet’s name. The best part? House Dogge supports a variety of groups dedicated to rescuing medically challenged, homeless, and abused dogs.

I mean, are you kidding? Louboutin for my Labrador? This toy is reason enough to get a dog.

Did someone say dinner?

If Tom Ford designed a dog bowl, this is what I imagine it would look like. Definitely for the fashion forward pooch.

If your dog is more the arty type, then this is the bowl for them. Comes in medium and large, lots of gorgeous colors, and personalized with a name. I kind of want one for myself.

Touchy subject

No bones about it, poop happens. But picking up would be so much more fun with this adorable poop bag holder from Anya Hindmarch.

These Approved by Fritz poop bag holders come in multiple fun color combinations, are made of recycled plastics, and even have space for a few treats or your keys.

Nighty Night

A banal bed for Buster? Never! Not when you can have the colorful Sam’s Bed from Proba Home. These hand-tufted works of art are sized for small, medium and large dogs and are machine washable!

Designed for the discerning “darchitect”, The Petso dog bed from Nice People Workshop is a minimalists dream.

And because we could all use a smile…

Who knew the USPS made costumes for dogs? Yes, I am fond of subjecting my pack to costumes and other paraphernalia. I believe they like the loads of extra attention they get. But maybe I’m projecting. Still…I hope this makes you smile!
